FUN: Enjoyment and Amusement 7 of 55
Bringing the world of transformation to the word ‘FUN’, from these 55 “Medicine Wheel” cards lent to me by my lovely neighbor Cassandra, I know that my “experience of fun” has EXPANDED since I started my personal development courses back in October 1993.
It was the Landmark Forum in Sydney Australia, where I discovered that I operated “being the class clown” to hide the fact I really thought no one loved me and that I had to please everyone in order for them to like me ,(read class clown story here). A hidden deep sadness, that was completely distinguished for me, over the 3 days and one night (see syllabus here) had me see that being a “class clown” was often NOT FUN!
Thankfully and over 10 years more of personal development courses, I find myself in a very different place where fun is a genuine part of my life; having learnt that generating (read generating blog here) fun is always available to me.
WHERE DOES ONE FIND FUN?
A great question and perhaps, for many people, it lies in one’s past?
If the question was asked to you;
- where do you reflect on a time in your life where fun was evident?
- How old were you?
- were you with someone?
- did it entertain you for a short or long time?
- did you smile non-stop?
But what if one’s life has really been hard, difficult and indeed; with maybe a sad and unfortunate childhood?
What access would someone, with these circumstances, have towards a world where fun is possible?
Another great question, as I assert that every human has an access to fun, if one is willing to “GENERATE FUN” versus being limited by one’s past.
“Easier said than done!” I hear you cry!
Well for myself, I have learned several ways for me to ACCESS FUN:
1. What can I give up, to have “fun” be present right now?
2. Am I attached to an outcome, where fun must happen?
3. Are there new ways to review right now, where fun may accidentally show up?
4. If I can’t see the humour in it, will there be any chance of fun?
Surprising and grateful am I, after participating in my 2018 Wisdom Unlimited program where I had a breakthrough in happiness, (see that video on Instagram) ! It was totally unexpected, as I had already “caused a life which I love and living it powerfully” after completing my Self Expression and Leadership Program back in 1994.

New skills, new possibilities, new views on life, new ways of being and so much more have all grown and expanded, with his ongoing participation. There are remarkable and inspiring courses for our young people (8-12-year-olds) and teenagers (13-18) which underline Charles’s passion for sharing this work with younger generations.
